Stay for Chinese Tea offers optional audience analytics through Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These tools load only after you explicitly accept analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain disabled, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
Essential technology
Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar signals to deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent abuse and protect the site. These technologies are used for operation and security rather than advertising.
Analytics technologies
Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and the reading events described in our Privacy Policy. Microsoft Clarity provides masked session recordings and heatmaps for usability diagnosis. Search text and Newsletter form values are not sent as event parameters, and the Newsletter form is explicitly masked from Clarity. Google Analytics event-level data is configured for a 14-month retention period.
Newsletter technology
The Newsletter form is delivered by MailerLite. MailerLite may use strictly necessary storage or security signals to load the form, prevent abuse, remember submission state and complete double opt-in. These operations are separate from our optional analytics choice and are used to provide the subscription you request.
Managing cookies
The first visit presents Accept analytics and Reject analytics choices. You can reopen Cookie settings at any time. Rejecting analytics does not prevent reading, search, navigation or Newsletter signup. Browser settings can also view, block or delete cookies.
